The last of the pictures and a new blog / El resto de las fotos y un nuevo blog

Life in Argentina
http://www.erikaandjulianargentina.blogspot.com/

Last time I posted, Angel (Julian's dad) had just gotten home from the hospital and was more or less stable. I'm happy to report that he's doing great now, knock on wood, hasn't had any more major complications, and is adapting as well as can be to life with dialysis. He seems to handle the dialysis really well (it makes some people feel absolutely awful afterwards), which is truly fantastic! In the end, we're glad to we cut the trip short - aside from the fact that we would have spent the rest of the trip worrying, despite the circumstances, it's been really nice to spend time with Angel, and in my case, get to know him. So, relatively speaking, all's well that ends well!

I finally got around to uploading the last of the travel pictures (albums 39 to 46). As always, you can see them by clicking on the links in the right-hand column of this blog. Although there were lots of places that we didn't get to go to during this trip (and still really want to see), for now, the traveling is over. The truck is still in Honduras, but as soon as we get clearance from Argentina, we're going to ship the truck to Argentina. Julian will use it for work and we plan on going on weekend trips around the Concordia area in it. The truck will continue to travel, albeit on a much smaller scale!

Since the trip is over, there aren't any more pictures to add to this blog - so, I've created a new blog, mostly to post pictures of what we're doing in Argentina. The new blog is called "Life in Argentina" and can be found at http://www.erikaandjulianargentina.blogspot.com/
I've already posted pictures of Julian's niece's graduation in La Plata (~1 hour from Buenos Aires), and Xmas and New Year's in Buenos Aires (along with a few other random pics).

I hope everyone is doing great and thanks again for following our blog. We had a fantastic time during the trip (definitely caught the traveling bug!!) and are already thinking about how we're going to fix up our next truck for a future great adventure!

Besos y abrazos,
Erika and Julian
